was driving on freeway with no warning at all my car reved up like it was in nutral i had no drive gear i coasted to shoulder then tried revers there was none only park car was working perfectly fine up til then

Check the fluid level and condition. You're most likely going to be in the market for a transmission. You may be able to find a replacement unit for under $100 at a pick and pull style junkyard. Call your local Buick dealer or full service junkyard to see what transmissions from what vehicles will fit in your car.
