I was wondering what the total cost would be to replace the water pump? I know that the part if only around $30.00 - obviously the labor is going to be the large expense. I read a response about this repair if you are doing it yourself and he said that he got it done in around 90 minutes. . .Is that realistic? If that is true, a shop should not need more than 2 hours. I am on a fixed income and these things are really hard for me to afford. Obviously, it is something that I need to address. The better educated I am on the timeframe and what is involved with this job, I will have a good idea what the cost should be and not get gouged.
