Why won't my heater blow hot air? My thermostat climbs up gradually over to the red zone, but the car has only been running for 10 minutes or less. Thermostat gage rises more while idle, but rises while driving as well. I don't see signs of leakage anywhere, but could be wrong.

Your engine is low on coolant and has large air pockets. You need to have the system pressure tested to find the leak and repair it and hope that you haven't already done serious internal damage from driving it that way.
