power window motor removal

L Fr door power window motor removal. After removing all trim and electric connections is it safe to remove rivets and take motor out. window is taped up.

Do I have to drill something in the door and lock with a nut and bolt or is that part of the motor assembly after removal?

You do have to drill rivets to remove motor/regulator assembly.

I know I have to drill rivets to remove but will a spring unwind?I remember something I read where they tell your drill a hole and put a bolt in the hole with a nut on it.I was wondering if this is something i do with the motor and gear after removal from door?

while i have not done that specific vehicle it sounds like an after removal disassembly precaution.
