transmission wont shift

transmission goes in drive nuetral and reverse fine but wont shift had transmission service done mechanic said the transmission computer was not communicating with the transmission

Do you have any transmission fault codes? unfortunately i have lost access to the tech site just now but advise of any codes and i will look them up elsewhere.

there was no fault code for the transmission there was no communication between computer and tranny
