1995 Bmw 525i Attempting Remove Blower Motor Loose Wires Removed Wiring

I am attempting to remove the blower motor.....it is loose,wires removed, wiring harness pulled back but it will not clear the space between engine and cowling above no matter what i do. The "mouse cage fans" keep getting hung up. Cannot figure what is wrong. Can you offer any help?

You may have to remove another part of the airbox to get it out or even try coming from the top by taking out the intake filter and see if you can reach it from top.
