i have a 1995 BMW 318i, three years ago i replaced the radiator which is still good, it just had a minor tune up and we replaced the fan clutch because the fan was very slow, we also replaced the thermostat with including o ring and gasket and we also flushed the radiator and added new coolant 50/50. But we noticed the heater is not working. So even after all that we have done,we start the engine and after a few minutes the temperature reading goes pass have and continues to climb. Can you please help us. Mahalo

no it was fine and it never over heated before, not once. but we also thought that it could be a air bubble causing this problem or the heater is not working and it worked before. Are you thinking air bubble? because what else could it be?

if the heater is not working, that is another sign that the coolant is not full that there are air pockets that dont allow flow thru heater core.
