Have a 94 Toyota pickup with a 3.0L engine. It has a ticking noise at idle and gets louder as you accelerate. The engine seems to have plenty of power with no rough idling, misfiring, or vibrations. The engine oil was changed two weeks prior to this happening and is changed every 3000 mi give or take also still looks clean when I pulled the dipstick. The truck was purchased about 8 months ago and has ran fine up to this point. I'm just looking for some info that can help me determine where this ticking could be coming from. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Depending from the type of ticking noise and my guess would be from the valves. Have the valve clearances checked.

We don not know the type of noise emitted and where it is coming from so I am only making a wild guess.
