What can i do when my oil light is staying on after changing the oil pan gasket? What could the problem be?

I changed the oil pan gasket on my truck, had to jack motor up and take strainer off to get pan out. I put it all back together and now my oil like is staying on like it aint getting oil. Any ideas

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge,if normal replace the oil pressure switch. If abnormal could mean oil pump and/or engine bearing.
