what is this part?

im looking for the part that 2 hoses runn down from the throttle body, into this blue piece that has to peaks for the two hoses to connect too. the part is located on the back top of my cyl. head.

its a vacuum switch. take it out and go to a parts store to match it up.

It is a thermal vacuum switch and matching the color is important. Such switches comes in two configuration.

1. Both hoses are able to allow air to pass through when coolant temperature is low and air passage is blocked when certain operating temperature is breach.

2. Opposite of the first, cold = no air flow, hot = air flow.
