where is ecu unit located,

going down hill fast, first cooling fan stoped, replaced sensor in block, fan stil ony comes on with wire pulled, next the od light and check engine light came on about 3 weeks later, in conjuntion with lights, doors are locking at random,car hesitates when taking off, and somtimes stalls at lights, whats next?, think the computor shot? somthing is wacky,94 is obd 1 ? sould i buy reader or just pay for diacnocis,car is in great shape otherwise.

The ecm shows to be under center of dash. Usually with obd1, you can read the codes without buying anything, I'd have to double-check.
