My car heats innstantly

My car heats innstantly. Within driving 500 meters.I was putting deminealrised water green colour in the radiator. Is there a problem? Could I blow my water pump as a result?

If you live in cold areas with possibility of freezing conditions, coolant have to be used. They would prevent the coolant to freeze causing damage to engines.

Are the cooling fans woorking?
If upper hose is very hot and lower hose is not, it could be a bad thermostat.
Is coolant level correct?

For automatic transmission it is at the transmission, at end of gear shift cable. Remove the gear shift lever and bolts holding the switch and it can be taken off. Reverse installation and adjust as below.

NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH

Loosen neutral safety switch bolts. Position shift lever in "N". Align switch shaft groove to neutral basic line. See Fig. 6. Tighten adjusting bolt.
