my car has a misfire and its just started. im hoping its from driving it in the snow tonight as it wasont doing it befor im worryed

Hello,

There are few combinations of misfire conditions, it could be steady or random, it can only happen at idle or under load.
A misfire may or may not trigger the check engine light.

The misfire can happen due to worn spark plug(s) or bad plug wires. It can also be due to a faulty ignition coil, distributor cap, distributor.

The best course of action would be to look at these items individually and go through the process of elimination to find the issue.
