Pedal to the Metal? Why?

My 94 toyota camry started acting funny yesterday. I have to almost push the pedal all the way to the floor in order to speed up and even then it acts like it doesnt want to go, but finally does? Please help? Thank you in advance.

When was a tuneup last performed?

There are many possible causes for loss of power and a tune-up would be the first thing to do.

If the Check Engine Lamp is indicating, the trouble code has to be retrieved to understand what is wrong.
