Where is the MAF?

Trying to locate the MAF on 94 4runner 3vz-fe so i can clean it. and is it the hot wire type? thanks!

I took that off and looked inside behind the door flap and i don't see the wire i have to spray. behind that flap is a small plastic tube coming from top(1cm long x 3mm wide). is that the thing i clean? thanks alot for your reply im having trouble finding info on this.

That is what you should clean. Make sure you use Mass Air Flow Cleaner as they are very sensitive. One reson you may be having trouble is that it is often referred to as and Air Flow Meter and it has the air temperature sensor integrated into it.

not the hot wire type maf. can't be cleaned. need a new one. thanks.
