I have a 94 4runner. When I'm driving it I could hear liquid sloshing and it sounds like is coming from the dash. There is no visible leak on driver and passenger is. I can smell the coolant (not too bad) when the defroster or if the control is on outside air. Can you tell me where the heater core is located.

It requires removal of the dash to access the heater box. The heater core is inside the heater box. Alldata says it's a 3.4 hour job and it does not include recovering the A/C refrigerant, if so equiped.
