Engine shuts off when brake is appied

Runs great until you apply the brake then it goes dead like you turned off the ignition. Pull the brake light fuse and it keeps running with the brake applied. Put the fuse back in and unplug the left brake light and the idle goes down and runs a little rough. Unplug the right brake light and the engine shuts off. It will not start with either brake light unplugged. Everything else works and no engine codes show. Car as been sitting for about a ear but runs good.

This is a good one. It almost sounds like a ground issue. If you take away the ground from one component to have another work, it causes problems. Check body grounds for damage.

Yes this a good one the way I would start is see what you are loosing when you unplug the tail lights that way you know what circuit has a bad ground. Start by unpluging the tail lights and check for spark and see what the fuel pressure is. Let me know what you find and we can go from there.
