My poniac grand am 1994 quad 4 4cylender was sluggish now barely runs back fires and stalls what is wrong

Have the compression checked first to verify the motor is ok. Then look at the maintenance stuff like plugs, coils, boots cap holder and module.

Changed plugs and no that one of the spark plug thing dont give a spark other 3 give slight spark check by hand so I no it was running fine only hills were a prob till today it just started groggin out stallin barely moved

Start with basics. Compression then secondary components.
