1994 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am black coolant

I have a 1994 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. i went to change the thermostat today and i noticed that there was black coolant coming out of the hose that goes from the thermostat housing. i just have the coolant flushed 2 months ago. can anyone tell me why this would be? also are the 1994 trans ams supposed to use the green coolant or dexcool? it was manufactured in 05/1994

You had an answer at Yahoo how come you didn't take the advice from the Ret. ASE master tech-I'll suggest the same thing
