Replaced headlight motor gear and when I turn the lights on or off. One side goes up while the other side goes down or vice versa. Even if the are both up and I turn them off. Only one will go down but when I turn it on the one that is up goes down while the one that was down goes up

There is a control module for that system that is probably bad. http://i1198.photobucket.com/albums/aa448/Wrenchtech/56541807.jpg.gif It's located in the left front of the engine compartment. https://www.2carpros.com/images/external/56541883.jpg.gif

You should have it troubleshooted by an electrical specialist to confirm anything. I'm guessing the module may be bad but that as to be diagnosed properly.
