I have two questions, first, coming back from a long trip, the front end of my 1994, ply. acclaim, started to shimmy and shake when coming to a stop from a high speed, the tires are not waring and the shocks seem to be fine. and second, after changing all hoses and belts, and water pump and thermostat, the temp. Gage sometimes fluctuates when slowing down and sitting in traffic, but never goes all the way to hot. Please help.

Sounds like the front brake rotors are warped. If so, having them machined will solve that problem.

For the gauge fluctuating, drilling a 1/16" bleed hole in the thermostat will solve that. Many original thermostats have that tiny hole and many aftermarket replacements do not.
