What would cause power to get to the car, but after it runs for about 5 mins it turns off. The lights on the inside of the car won't turn on and the power locks and windows also doesn't work. The ignition switch was changed but it is still doing the same thing. What would you suggest? The car is a Oldsmobile, Delta Royal, 1994. Thank you for your help.

Have you checked all connections to the battery and ground to the engine block?

Yes, all connections have been checked and re-checked, and we even had the battery checked to make sure that it is good. And it was.

I have the exact same problem with my '94 Olds 88 Royale. Intermittantly runs or not, cranks fine has spark but no fuel pump. When it wont start it has no automatic interior lights(will work manually)no power seats, no power windows and no power door locks, everything else seems to work fine. When I open the door if the interior lights come on I know it will run at least for awhile. I believe it has something to do with one of two things, Retained Accy. Power Relay or Anti-theft system(or possibly BCM) but cant figure it out. Any help out there?

It sounds like a ground issue. Let me know if it takes care of the problem.

Just to let everyone know, it was the ground strip on the drivers side under the carpet. The wires were fried, the website listed really helped. Thank you to everyone who gave advice, those who put in the effort to stay in contact which essentially helped us through this problem!
