power steering on 94 nissan

I have just bought a 94 nissan pickup with no power steering pump. I have heard that some have power steering gear boxes that require oil. Is this right and if so how do i know if i have one, and where do you add oil. thanks

If you do not have any power steering pump, that would mean you do not have any power steering system.

Unless there is a leak, if not you would not need to top up the fluid. There is a fill plug on top of the steering gear box.
