Will it drive with the car in gear and clutch out at all or is it slipping? is there any burning smell? do you ave any engine power problems?

It drives well in gear with the clutch out on a flat surface, just that i do not seem to get enough acceleration to balance the clutch if i happen to get held up on an incline, the engine does not respond when i press on the accelerator,i replaced the clutch only about six months ago, and there isn't any burning smell
