1994 Mitsubishi Pajero Hi Which Times Will Let Engage Gears Turn Off Engine

HI, i have a 1994 pajero which at times will not let me engage gears. If i turn off engine, select 1st gear,press clutch and start engine it will drive up and down the gears fine but sumtimes i have to turn off engine to get it into gear.I've bled cylinder and it made no difference, please help thanks.

How is the pedal feel? If it is too loose/low, you could have a fault with the master cylinder.
Bleeding is not going to help if pressure is leaking internally.
