I saw the oil lamp start to blink after I pulled out of parking spot

My 94 mercury villager went through a ditch of water my oil filter split and all oil ran out while i was driving vehicle shut off and couldn't restart what happened did engine seize up or it couldn't start because all belts and wires covered in oil it all happened so fast.

You may have siezed the engine. It doesnt take long with no oil!

Use a socket on the crank pully bolt and see if you can turn the engine by hand.
