I have a salvaged 1994 mazda mx6 ls and it has a mazda 3.0L engine and they come stock with a 2.5 and 2.0 so what did my engine come out of

That is a question that could be answered if we had the information off the replacement engine. The 929 had a 3.0 liter motor in that year of production, could be where it came from, but that is just a wild guess.
