1994 Mazda MX3 will not start

I was driving home last evening and got caught in a flash flood I accidentally drove into a large puddle the car stalled and now I can't get it to crank over I think I might have gotten water in the distributor I do not know how to dry it out

distributor is on top of engine pull the cap off and blow it out with air as well as cap then let dry for a while but if you got water in that you surely got water into your ecu and destroyed it
Have a pro look at it.
