1994 Mazda B2300 Truck Will Crank Coolant Temp Sensor Plugged Brand New Idle

My truck will not crank with the coolant temp sensor plugged in the sensor is brand new, the idle control valve is new also. When I unplug the CTS it will run but it will spit sputter and stall and runs rough Please sir I need help with this one.
