My research shows that there is a difference, possibly due to different casting and combustion chamber shape. 1994 models were 20+ horsepower over the 1993 model

Seeing there is a difference between a 1994 and 1993 Lincoln town car cylinder head, is it possible to use a a 1993 cylinder head on a 1994 Lincoln town car engine?
And if so what needs to be done to make it work?

Assuming there is no visible difference, I would say compare the gaskets and the heads, if they match up then the other differences will be negligible.
