When car is idling for a short while, car shakes and motor sounds like it's going to die.

Driving the car is fine. If I stop and put foot on brake (or put in park) car starts to shake, the motor sounds like it going to die and you can see the lights get dimmer with the engine shaking.

The lights get dimmer because the alternator is spinning slower. As far as the engine problem, check for vacuum leaks and check the idle air control valve. If the check engine light has come on, have the computer scanned to identify trouble codes. Most parts stores will do it for free.

I had the same problem. If I could find great pcv valve look at the rounded hose elbows. Look at the hose that goes in your pvc valve check for cracks and wear. After that follow the hose and check the other side. It's usually its the other and of the hose. If I can't find your pvc just ask and I will derrect you.
