1994 Lexus ES 300 timing belt tension pulley replacement

Having trouble breaking crank shaft pulley bolt lose. Is the bolt left hand or right handed, and what is the best way to hold crankshaft still while trying to break the bolt lose so I dont mess my valves up. Already broke a half inch extention trying to break it lose.

It will be a R/Hand thread, try removing the starter motor and locking the ring gear with a suitable lever.

You undo it by turning it to the Left, it will be extremely tight.
