My 1994 jeep grand cherokee stopped taking gas and gets to.50-.75 cents and shuts the gas pump off and starts overflowing, I know my tank is not full and the gas very slowly leaks in, any ideas?

Might just be the pump handle, Have you tried a different gas station?

Check your inlet and/ or vent hose for kinks or possibility that a foreign object(s) has been put into itDo not use a cigarette lighter to investigate--use a flashlight!

And it could be your fuel gauge is inaccurate! Bad Sender or Bad Gauge. Rule that out if you are able to add a lot, if you just pump really slow
