1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee car cutting off

As I am driving the car cuts off. Its ok at higher speeds. I am in danger of the car cutting off when slow down and stop at a light or stopsign. I know when the car is about to cut off. It starts shuttering and then cuts
off. The oil gauge goes up when I accelerate, goes down to half when I slowdown or stop. When car does stop sometimes it starts right back, other times it takes a while

That is normal for the oil pressure gauge. As far as the engine, when it doesn't restart, have you checked to see if there is fuel pressure to the fuel rail and spark to the plugs?
