Have been having problems with my factory alarm since I bought this vehicle. Today it went into alarm while starting and could not get it to start. Finally got it running but read that you could remove the alarm module and just get rid of the alarm problems, but found that with the alarm module removed it will only run for a second then quit. Re-connected the alarm module and it starts fine. Is there a way to remove the alarm module and still get it to start?

no, it is programmed to the pcm. it will not allow tampering.

you need a shop that can monitor the theft system to find the exact failure.
