I'm not sure what is going on with the alarm system so I really need help. The other day I had the doors locked and I opened the drivers door with the key and no alarm went off then I hit the unlock button to open the other doors no alarm and then I opened the rear drivers side door and the alarm starts going off. I'm clueless about this please help.

Yep, sometime the system can get confused, with the ignition "OFF" disconnect the battery for about a minute, then reconnect, the problem should go away, let me know what happens :-)

I've been researching it and what I've found so far says that there are 1 to 2 sensors in each door for the alarm system and that they sometimes wear out so instead of unlocking the car from the drivers side I unlocked it from the passenger side and the alarm disarmed

Yes, that can definitely happen, those switches are located inside the latch, they will need to be tested using a wiring schematic from google images, basic open and closed circuits, the drivers side should be the one with two switches. Have you tried unlocking and locking the rear hatch with the other doors locked? I have seen that reset the system as well.

One more question could a weak battery affect the alarm? Make it go off or something?

O ya, the alarm works on 12 volts, if it goes lower, anything can happen.
