surges and chokes off when cold

pulled the motor out to what play with it?
recheck your installation tha all the sensors and vacuum lines are hooked up correctly.

is you temperature sensor plugged in,do you have access to live data on a scan tool? i would suspect a temp sensor issue ,either no hooked up or broken off or just plain no good.
