where is the fuel safety switch on a 1994 izuzu rodeo 3.2L 4x4

we are working on a rodeo and can't get the fuel pump to energize with the key on.

no fuel saftey switch. if the fuel pump is not working. either the fuse is blown or a bad relay.

if the altenator has a short can that cause the injetors not to have a pulse?

on izuzu, yes. have it checked out. the older ones do use the alternator.
