transmission whine and slack of power

gears 1-od: trans makes a whining sound and has a major loss of power
fluid does not smell burnt but is bubbly on dip stick need help i did ngk plugs and fresh oil. pls help

It almost sounds like it may be a problem with the converter. I would have that checked first. Also, if any warning lights have come on, have the computer scanned to identify if there are trouble codes related to the transmission.

yes it has trans malfuction on the dash
