Hey guys I have a hyundai lantra 1994 modle j1 1.8
ok I have had this car siting in the shed now for a wile.
i have mucked around with it to get to the water pump and changed that all of a sudden it isnt starting or evin cracking over I really wanna find out whats the go I evin went to the wreckors and got a secend hand one and its doing the same. Click click click. And drains the battrey but I fixed that had no alternator strap but I replaced that and tryed to jump start it with my mates car I am verey on the low with money and trying to find a fast way to fix it with out a lot of $$$$ can u help me PLEASEEEEEE

First of all you need to manually crank the engine to see if it is seized.

Next apply battery voltage to the starter solenoid to test if the starter is good.

The crank pulley has a bolt that you can turn with a socket.

I have found number 5 there was a ground bolt what wasent screwd in as well and the 5 its pointing at looks really old were all the plastic is just rubing off were it is really old do I need to replace that asap?

Ohh and the plugs to the switches have grease in them is that bad?

Sorry the pictures do not turn up anything when I click on them to enlarge. Bad ground circuits can cause non cranking and electrical connectors have di-electric grease in them to keep away moisture.
