I have a 1994 honda passport runs great but went to engage in reverse would work. drove for a few miles then it worked just fine. parked didnt work again. had it in 4h because of road conditions i live in wisconsin so it is very cold here so would that have anything to do with it?

check fluid, beyond that, it is internal issue. you will most likely need a trans shop
