Hello,

I drive a 94 Accord with a H22a swap. I have a tranny problem.

When the car is off, the tranny does not go into 4th gear unless i force it. Same for 5th, but it does not take as much force.

When I am driving the car, first and second gear go in no problem. 3rd has a little trouble, 4th does not really go in (unless it does sometimes, w/o too much force) and 5th gear will go in sometimes, and then somtimes it goes in half way and when I release the clutch it will pop out. What is the problem?

Clutch, linkages?

Thank you for your help, Ellis.

first thing to do is check linkage for proper adjust ment then if it still does it it may be a schyncro going bad or it still may not be going into gear all the way due to an internal tranny problem
