1994 Accord-brake lights won't go out, I have replaced the switch-anyone got a clue?

The rubber bumper for the switch to land against has probably fallen off. You can get a new one at the dealer.

Do the lights go out if you unplug the switch? If so, it's either misadjusted or sticking.

LOL, thanks Doc. I've seen it many times.
Another thing that works good is a plastic push pin like the ones use to hold plastic shields on.

Ensure the putty is not too thickas there must be sufficient clearance between the switch and stopper.
