I'm in the process of removing the rear axle and can't get the handbrake shoe off so I can get to the axle nuts. Can anybody help me out? Pictures would be greatly appreciated!

we dont' have any info on these but normally there is a horshoe or e clip that holds the pin in on the rear linging. however ifyou have a disc brake on the rear it can be different. i'm sending a pic of one from a pontiac and there may be a hole in axle to get to bolts. i have an arrow pointint to it. it may come off with the axle.
