brakes in rear do not lock up

94 gmc k3500 Duly took to mechanic, said everything seemed fine but rear breaks do no lock up only front ones. what do you think that the problem could be gmc duly was taken to mechanic because the brakes in rear do not lock up only the front ones, they say everyting ok , what do you think is wrong
