what should i do when i drained some tranny fluid from transfer case but the dipstick still says it too full

I overfilled my tranny with fluid and someone told me to drain some by removing the plug from the transfer case so i did and it still showing on the dipstick that there is still too much fluid. What should i do?

transfer case is separate from trans. re fill it.

trans can be drained by removing a cooler line from the radiator.
