Would a bad heater core cause no heat ?

If it was plugged or restricted does the fan work?Details details please?

yes the fan works perfect- no problems with switches- it has all all new thermostat, new antifreeze and has been flushed -van is not running hot and never has -- just lets out cold air no hot air at all

Are both hoses at the fire wall getting to hot to hold?
