I have a 94 Geo Prizm with 165,000 miles. I had to replace my exhaust manifold less than 2 years ago because it had a large crack in it. I noticed the other day that it has a crack in the new one, again, and in the same place. Is this the sign of an underlying problem, or should I just replace it again?

Some models tends to have exhaust manifold cracking after some time of usage. It is not because of other factors but rather design or material fault.

Getting it replaced is all you need to do.

There should be a new heat shield with manifold, it has vents cut into it. Original vents were solid and caused the problem.
