what do you think will cause this

My 1994 Thunderbird 4.6 will not run. If you take one plug out it will start but will not stay running for long.

did someone mess with your spark plug wires? Maybe you're out of time and pulling one out makes it a hair better? I have no idea, maybe you got punked.
