Is the tool that removes the radio the same tool that would remove the heating/air conditioning panel from my 1994 ford thunderbird to replace a light?

I think that the outer trim panel will clip on, there may be some hidden screws as well, Mitchell 1 does not show internal trim removal, the question is still open for others with information to add if they can.
